About Citadel Security Services

Citadel Security Services, LLC, was launched in March 2006 after co-owners Rob Cesternino and Chris Sawyer decided there was a great opportunity for a security services provider that focused on providing superior services by setting higher standards for security officers, implementing extensive screening, training and continued professional development of officers and increasing client contact to attain common goals of safety and security.

Having been in a Leadership role in Atlanta and the Pacific Northwest for the only security company ever named one of FORTUNE magazine's "100 Best Companies to Work For", Rob has a unique insight into employee-focused service delivery of premium security services.

While providing exceptional service to clients and meaningful employment for our officers with opportunities for career development, Citadel also endeavors to remain active in the community through participation in charity events and organizations such as IREM, BOMA, IFMA, Rotary International and ASIS International.

Markets served
With Branch offices in Nashville, TN and Greenville, SC, Citadel is focused on expansion into new markets  including but not limited to; Memphis, Clarksville, Knoxville and Chattanooga, TN, the Upstate of South Carolina and any other areas our existing clients might need our services. Citadel is also projecting to open a new branch office in Seattle, WA or Portland, OR in 2010 to service the Pacific Northwest. 

Rob Cesternino

Rob Cesternino has more than 25 years experience in military and civil law enforcement and the security industry and has provided executive oversight for various high profile security operations in the Atlanta, Georgia, and Seattle, Washington, areas. A former Special Agent with the Georgia Bureau of Investigation, Rob worked major crimes during the 1996 Olympics in Atlanta, including the Centennial Park bombing. Rob is a licensed/certified security trainer/instructor in Georgia, South Carolina and Tennessee. He is also a member of ASIS International and Rotary International as well as an active supporter of IREM, BOMA and CREW. Rob and his family reside in Lebanon, Tennessee.

Chris Sawyer

Chris Sawyer has more than 16 years of experience in security operations management, human resources, training and marketing of security services for several regional companies in the southeast. After three years providing exceptional security services as a general manager of a regional security provider in the Nashville, Tennessee, area, he left that company in 2006 for Citadel. An active member of IREM, BOMA and ASIS International, he currently serves on the board of directors for the Southern Region of BOMA. Chris and his family live in Brentwood, Tennessee.
